Your Affiliate Link Embedded In YouTube Videos (No Excuses Not to)

If the thought of creating your own video seems too intimidating or hard for you, there are plenty of videos out there in the public domain that you can effortlessly insert in your website. For instance, if you are promoting a particular network marketing program, or a specific affiliate product it is simple to enhance the worth of your promotion by searching on YouTube for a video that someone has made to portray the benefits of that specific program or product.

Of course, the downside of embedding somebody else's video on your website is that whenever anybody clicks a video they will be taken to the video-maker's YouTube page where they will more than likely find that person's affiliate link and click on it instead of clicking on the links that are on your website. And when that happens, you cannot really complain because after all, you were making use of somebody else's content on your website, so from time to time it is good for that person to get something back.

However, there are a couple of techniques that you can use to increase your chances of getting the video viewers business. We are talking about embedding your affiliate links into or onto other people's YouTube videos when you post them on your site.

Embedding your affiliate links into YouTube videos can be done quickly and simply and best of all, you can do it completely free of charge.

Method 1: LinkedTube.com

This approach allows you to place a button at the top of a YouTube video. You can add some text to the button and also a number of hover text which will appear when the viewer hovers the cursor over the button. You can point the button to your affiliate link and when the button is pressed the viewer will be taken to your affiliate page.

The steps are very simple. Firstly locate the YouTube video you want to feature on your website and copy the video URL or ID code. (You will see this code in one of the fields to the right of the video on the YouTube page.)

Immediately go to LinkedTube.com and paste the ID code in the top field that you will see on the right of that page. Next insert  the text that you want to show on the button. Insert your affiliate link in the third field. In the remaining three fields you can define how long you desire the button to appear over the video, and you can enter some hover text.

As soon as you have completed that merely hit the "Update Preview" link and then if everything looks okay, hit the "Save & Get Code" button. This will generate your link code which you can observe by clicking the little arrow button to the right of the HQ button on the bar at the bottom of the video screen on the page.

Now merely copy and paste your YouTube embedded link code into your web page where you wish the video to show.

Method 2: BubblePly.com

With BubblePly you can embed your affiliate link in a bubble that appears "in" the video screen rather than in a button that appears "on" the screen. Also, you can choose from several styles of bubble, and you can decide its size and location on the screen.
The initial thing to do is to copy the YouTube video URL and paste it into the bubble URL field. Click the "Next" button and you will be taken to a screen where the video will begin playing. Click the pause button to stop the video next choose a bubble from the bubble menu. I suggest that you pick the plane bubble and extend it so that it is wide enough to cover the width of the video. Once you have done that you will be able to type in some text, then click a link button and add your affiliate link.

The subsequent thing to do is to set the amount of time that you wish your affiliate links to show while the video is playing. To do that all you have to do is slide the video tracking slider buttons at the base of the video screen to your preferred start and finish positions. Lastly, click the "Done" button. Now you will be able to copy the system-generated embed code and paste it into your HTML page anywhere you wish the video to show.

No matter which method you decide to use, merely by embedding your own affiliate link in or on the video you will have "leveled the playing field". Now you can take things further in your favour by inviting your readers and viewers to pass on the video. As long as they pass on the video that is on your page, they will be passing on the embedded affiliate links as well. If enough people pass it on, by e-mail, by posting it on their blogs, or by read tweeting it, you will suddenly have a viral video working for you.

How To Succeed After Finding Your Micro-Niche

One thing new internet marketers often fail to do is market to a well defined micro-niche market. That is probably why such a great proportion of minor Internet businesses fail. Competing with established markets without narrowing your market down will be very hard to do.
Starting with a unique product of your own that has a well-defined market appeal gives you a built-in advantage since it is relatively simple for you to accomplish top rankings across the total spectrum of search engines simply by writing about your merchandise and posting your articles on your website and on your blog. Even if you have no awareness of Search Engine Optimization techniques or keyword research, you still have a respectable chance of achievement as the keywords you need for your products will spontaneously occur in the process of writing about them. As you are one of the few people to be writing on that specific subject, simply by publishing your articles on your site you are likely to hit page one of Google.

Your articles and blogs should start to generate a small amount of visitors to start with as long there is a market for your product. Now, provided that you have made it straightforward for people to pay for your products, and as long as the prices are within expectations, your odds of converting a reasonable percentage of that traffic into sales is really quite high.

This is because anyone who finds your page will have put a very specific phrase into the search engines.  This often means that the person is more intent on buying something or at least is very interested because it is such a specific search phrase.

Your results will no doubt increase if you apply SEO techniques to your web pages, and more actively seek out and develop your market on the Internet, but you can get a long way simply by writing on the subject of your niche product and benefiting from the long tail keyword phrases that occur as a natural result of what you write.

So how can you seek out and cultivate your market?

By going wherever it is. Think about where your likely market may hang out on the Internet. Which forums would they frequent? Sign up to those forums and join in the conversations.

Develop your market by actively responding to both direct and indirect inquiries. By indirect inquiries I mean those questions that folks post on forums that are related to your niche-market. By responding to those inquiries on the social sites, you are setting yourself up as an expert in that specific field. Simply add a link to your website in your forum signature file, and each time you respond to an inquiry, you will be quietly making a way for the readers of that thread on the forum to see your website.

When people visit your website it is a good idea to have a means to sign up for your news letter. You can use an auto responder to set up this kind of service. This is a splendid way to collect names and e-mail addresses of  customers and connect with them via e-mail.

Many people make the mistake not to follow up with messages they get from prospective clients. Be diligent in responding to any inquiries you receive by e-mail. When people ask you questions they are in fact engaging you to help and advise them and if they like what they hear, you stand a good chance of changing that person into a loyal customer.

Something else one can do for good search engine positioning is to write articles about your micro-niche market and post them in article directories. You have already gained good search engine rankings for your niche product, and every time you post an article on one of the leading article directories you will strengthen your place at the top and dominate your niche market.

The great thing about all the above is that it is free or very low cost to do. Your biggest expense would be your auto responder, for a micro-niche concern with a mailing list of less than 500 names we are looking at a budget of less than twenty dollars a month.

So as you can see, if you can set up a micro-niche concern with a viable product you can accomplish success on the Internet much more easily than if you try to compete with the big boys in broad and competitive niches.
